Today we went to the MRF of UP Diliman.  There, we were shown its different functions and also its importance and relevance to the society.  We were shown how composts were made and even planted plants at the last part.  

That experience helped me see the true importance of segregation and pushed me further in taking part in segregating wastes.  It also showed me the importance of waste management and encouraged me to join the movement in managing waste at home.  They showed wonderful ideas in line with that, that I wanted to apply in our abode.

It was a very wonderful event and I learned a lot of lessons.  Surely, managing wastes is something that we should be serious in doing in our houses, schools and communities.
